Its official, BWU is now live and out in the public eye.

The pre-launch went smoothly and I am excited to be opening and promoting this blog. Don’t worry though I will still be delivering content almost everyday and sometimes more then once a day.

Like I said in Coming Attractions there are a couple bloggeries that I already have all planned out such as the How To Write A Novel series. I am starting the promotion stage a bit earlier then originally planned mostly because I get a buzz from it and people were asking when it would be officially launched and if I could do it sooner. (I had Launchpad installed so they couldn’t comment/discuss any posts made)

Big thanks goes out to The Net Fool, Yan of Thou Shall Blog and Problogger. Without their brilliant blogs I wouldn’t have been able to do my blog the right way from the beginning and I am sure it would have crashed and burned like my other blogs :(.

A huge hug to my subscribers, I checked my feedburner statistics and was surprised that some people were interested in seeing what this blog will be about.

I changed the permalink structure for BookWorms United so once the site is up and running and you find that when you try clicking from the feed to the blog and it gives a 404 error page, that is the reason why.

I am trying to optimize this website so that once it gets off to its launch it is nice and optimized. I hope you all understand and continue being a subscriber

Book Worms Unite is almost ready to go public! I just got the John Cow Milk It theme which is a beautiful theme but those colors have got to go! I will be colorizing the heck out of it using Gimp and then I will install it. But before I activate it I will need more content on this blog so I am guessing that the blog won’t be ready for another week or so.

I am also thinking about adding the forum sooner then I was before, because it takes a long time for forums to grow, maybe even longer then blogs. So I will be working on both that and this blog so that they can air at the same time.

My goal for this week is to get the theme done, install the theme, build up some content, install the forum, and set it up.

Hello, my name is Bookworm but I am most commonly known as either EmmaB or Shireen across the web.  One day while I was reading a book, an idea formed in my head. What if I created a website about books? It is my favourite hobby so it could be fun.

Right away, I asked my friends at Web Talk Forums for advice on a domain name as the ones I wanted were all taken. Autumn recommended bookwormsunite.com and I fell in love with it right away since I am a bookworm and this site is dedicated to bookworms.

I am still in the idea and development stage but I hope to get started soon. This website won’t be just a blog as I hope to add a forum sometime in the next year if things kick off just the way I want them to.  There are lots of ideas knocking around my noggin and I hope you enjoy them!

Now the title of this post is Pre-Launch Introduction and that’s because I am not ready for visitors yet! I hope you will come back soon and continue reading Book Worms Unite
